For folk from Boston

Post by redman »

My wife would love to visit Boston to see where our forefathers landed, she does not want to stay in a hotel because she has seen rather nice guest houses run by local people.

Has anyone there got any ideas? somwhere not to far from the airport and any pics would be nice. :)

Hi Redman, let me start by saying I haven't learned how to use my dig camera yet, so I cannot post any pics for you. I promise to learn soon (grrrrrrrrr).

I'm sure you could find some B&B's if you did a google search for them in Boston, MA. I don't know if there really are many right in the city; most of the beautiful ones are a little more remote.

I'm happy to help you out and will do a little research on my own. When are you two thinking of coming to our great city? Boston is beautiful anytime but not in the winter! There's lots to do here.

And why Boston? Naturally, I think it's wonderful but I'd like to know why you and your wife do!

Will you be coming during Red Sox season? THE BEST!!

I love Massachussetts (hope I spelled that right) and I particularly liked Boston. The aquarium was very good. We even got the last ferry out and back to Nantuckett for the winter... man, was that a rough ride!

I'd love to go back. Enjoy your trip Redman.

Ha, Ha! My then-husband's family also had a house on the Cape.

*must be a thing with ex-husbands*

You were one letter off on Massachusetts and Nantucket -- but you still get an 'A' in knowledge! We have an excellent aquarium here. And the ferry to the islands, in bad weather, can be a most difficult trip -- glad you made it!
