satellite question
While it IS possible for a satellite signal to be split via a splitter (though you will lose some quality), you will only be able to watch the channel the receiver is currently turned to. Unfortunately, this means that you cannot have two channels on at the same time; for this to happen, you will need to purchase a second receiver (and/or a new dish capable of supporting multiple receivers).
Hope this helps!

The problem is, I have a dish netwrok satellite and I don't know how to get it in the bedroom
I live alone so it doesn't matter that I can't watch different channels in different rooms, but a friend said that a satellite can't be attached to a splitter like cable can be.
Do I need to buy another dish and receiver, or just another receiver, or is there a way around all of it?
Thanks in advance!
