keg parties in the us, why not in uk
hi, why is it that american students have lots of keg parties and english people dont seem to bother. i think people in the uk should start having them. its cheaper than going to the off license, you have the novelty of having abeer tap in the house and more often than not they deliver, so you dont even have to go out.:-2 big red has pointed out a site for people in uk who want to have keg parties. i think he may work for them, he seems a little obsessedhttp://www.solarciderbar.com

Ya know, being an Aussie living in the UK, I have a small idea as to why there aren't any keg parties here - coz beer costs so bloomin' much in this land!!! Fully, I'm finding I can barely afford the odd pint or two on a Friday arvo after work, let alone chipping in with a crew for an entire keg! To be honest, I'm not sure how much a keg would cost here, but I imagine it wouldn't be too cheap. I'm sticking with my £1.49 1.5 litre bottles of el cheapo cider from the local Aldi store.
Anyways, ranting aside, I am sure a keg party here in the mother land would be crackin'! :p
