SnoozeControl wrote: I got that description off Netflix. Here's a review from one of the customers:
"Risky Business" may be the most underrated American film of all time. Films as diverse as "The Virgin Suicides" and "American Beauty" owe a significant debt to this film. The story of Joel Goodson (Tom Cruise) and his brief descent into decadence is an American classic. "Risky Business" skewers not only hypocritical Reagan-era sexual mores, class and racism, but explores with sensitivity and depth the life of a young man adrift in a life he never asked for, in a world he cannot understand. The onscreen chemistry between real-life lovers Cruise and Rebecca De Mornay (Lana) is positively kinetic. As racy as the film's love scenes are, they show a vulnerability and tenderness that is almost shocking. The infamous "Love on a Real Train" sequence is an apt metaphor not only for Joel's awakening into manhood but also the blossoming of his inner life. Like so many in the postmodern era, Joel is a young man lost in the world and in his own skin. He has no choice but to break out, when the pressures of his home and social life become too great. Writer/director Paul Brickman weaves together Joel's inner and outer worlds in a combination of fantasy and real-life sequences, all set to the engrossing synthesizer score of Tangerine Dream. Performances from the supporting cast are excellent, even in the smallest of roles. Often referred to as one of the great "teen sex-comedies", "Risky Business" is much more than Tom Cruise dancing in his underwear. It is a surprisingly sensitive and profound story of one young man finding his way in this strange and often lonely world.
Ah I stand corrected, it seems that the film has more depth to it then I first thought. I'm not too sure if anywhere around here would sell or rent this film anymore though, as it must be what 20 years old, something like that??

:wah: Well you know one of the mornings that I was with Raven and co, after finishing my breakfast, I went round to Raven's house and she said "oh you should see all the cute messages that have been posted about you overnight."
After logging on and taking a glance at what I thought was a joke, I nearly spilled my tea, after laughing so much as to how serious it really was hahaha. Though I do look rather nice in the blue raincoat, (even if it is my dad's) don't you think!! :p

Oh I know, I was just going to bring my fleece with me, but my parents insisted on taking it instead just in case it poured, and boy am I glad I took there advice, because did it rain on that day or what.
Hehehe ah thanks Chonsi, though the best pictures aren't the ones of me, but of all us all, as after all this was a group event, and without everyone else none of this would have been possible!!

You should worry, I'm sitting here in front of my sister's old computer that I inherited when she updated. It's got a 14" monitor, Windows 98 and keeps crashing!
I was made redundant and can't really afford to upgrade so I'll have to keep using this old beggar!:(

Sorry to hear that, but I guess we have to be happy that at least both our computers are still working and not broken, because how could we ever log onto FG otherwise!!

If you have 24 odds and ends on a table and 23 fall off, what do you have left, an odd or an end?
Why do we park in driveways and drive on parkways?
If a convenience store claims to be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week...why do they have locks on thier doors?
Someone please stop me before I think again.

So the muggers can lock the door to rob them. Heeeeeee. Actually my wife did go to a convenience store and the door was locked and she saw some man in there and she figured they were getting robbed so she came home to call the police and yes they were.
