Yes, at last I have a day off on Thursday and it couldn't have come soon enough. Work has been driving me crazy lately. I don't know about anyone else but it seems that who ever I talk to we all seem to be in the `loads of pressure` enviroment at work these days.

Most companies are pressing to do better in what looks like a bit of an economic slow down here in the U.K. That means, the boss wants more out of us and whatever we do just isn't good enough or for that matter not enough.

So, to hell with it for at least one day that is for Thursday is my day and for now I just don't know what I am going to do. One things for sure though the day will be a pressure and hassle free day.

Hope your day goes well.

Regards Deckard.

Well, Deck, that's what I call "more grunts for the buck."

We are opening a production facility in China soon...that will mean that 40 odd people will not be doing what they do now here in the UK...but we are bringing in a loudspeaker cabinet manufacture facility and in theory people will transfer to these jobs....."NO REDUNDANCIES" have been promised. The reality is that these moves de-stabilise the workforce and make them insecure. We are also VERY busy making and stockpiling parts to cover the change over period when no production will be done....it feels chaotic here at the moment....so many changes !

We have a bank holiday weekend this week...it would be good to get out in the fresh air, but the forecast is for rain..

Deck, I'm glad you're getting a day off, and I don't want to rain on your parade, but what has happened with your recent "come see me" call from your doctor? Everything ok with you?
