We're at the final countdown for a tremendous event!

I just wanted to say, I'm so looking forward to meeting you all!

To those getting ready to travel by planes, trains and automobiles, Godspeed and may you have fair winds at your back! Travel safe!

Double check everything and then check it again. Passports, phone numbers, addresses.

Pack light and comfy. We'll be doing alot of walking. The weather will be mild but not hot.

Dont forget your camera and TONS of film!

To those travelling from North America, GREAT BRITAIN is waiting to welcome you! (loudly to be sure!);)

To those of you travelling to my place, RAVEN WELCOMES YOU!:-6

Yippee 9 days!!!!!!!! I shall be posting a (hopefully) accurate update on the weather next week, so that it will help us to all get a good indication as to what to wear on the day.

Oh and if you are catching a train, make sure that you get off the train to Southend two stops earlier, something that I'm glad I found out before the day hehehehe (thanks Raven!!) :wah:

I'll look forward to seeing you all soon then!!!!

Well seeing as how we are going to have a lot of stories and loads of photos to put up, I can see your computer being put through it's paces hehehe. I can just see now, the London meeting thread, already hitting 1,000 posts in it within a few days, hahaha well ok maybe that is a slight exaggaration!!

That would be right for homemade pasties, you'll have to settle for best shop bought pasties in Cornwall!

Ahem Worcester boy!!! I have a name you know hahaha.

Well I've never even been near our Worcester sauce factory, because I hate the stuff, and I do believe that they are shutting up shop here and moving to Birmingham, just make our small enough city even less popular why don't you haha.) So if u wanted Worcester sauce then it's going to be best to just get it from a normal supermarket. I can try and bring some if u would like, but bear in mind I only have my small backpack to fit everything in.

Oh and BB I prefer mine hot as well, they just taste nicer warm in my opinion!!

It's a typical american bbq on sunday as we will be celebrating both Minks and my hubby's birthday then. Burgers, dogs and of course french fries. (known in britain as chips!) Dont worry sweety, I can get plenty sauce here! I was just teasing as it is known as WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE! (i can even pronounce it right!);)
