I'm beginning to hate Natalee Holloway
everyone knows crimes and amber alerts are my abiding passion. i feel very sad for Natalee's family. i have a long thread where i have kept the story updated. BUT...at nearly the one-year anniversary of the poor girl's disappearance, every talking head program goes on and on ad infinitum nightly with speculation about her sad demise. her parents are still on every night. i don't blame them. but the pundits are milking this thing even beyond the Chandra Levy frenzy which only ended with 9-11. GUESS WHAT GRETA AND LARRY AND NANCY AND DAN AND ALL THE REST OF YOU....there are other missing people! many many others who get no publicity. boys. girls. men. women. MISSING. and nobody is analyzing every detail ad nauseum every single night and day. let's give them some attention and valuable airtime.

You are so correct LC bless Natalie and her family and I do hope they find her body someday so she can be put to rest.:-1
As you say there a childrens who go missing each and everyday, and they never get air time, or even a blip in the paper. This makes me sick and sad for their families..

Does the real media follow it to the same level of obsession as Greta?at this point it's all about ratings, i.e. money. it's ridiculous. FOX and CNN and MSNBC are wetting their pants to keep flogging the case. it's EVERY DAMN DAY AND NIGHT. the girl is dead. i am sorry. let's move on to some real news.

I've been tired of Natalee Holloway. It has become apparent to me that if you go missing, the only way you will be known in this country is if you are a pretty, well-off, caucasian female. People go missing all of the time and I'm not really sure as to why Natalee was so important. I'm sure that her parents, friends, and family are concerned but how does her going missing affect the rest of the country? People go missing in every state. People get killed in every state. For the simple fact that this young lady went to a country with "Brown people" and disappeared, we should boycott that country and graduation trips abroad? Living in Louisiana, I remember when some Asian tourists were killed in the French Quarter, now if people in their country would have been screaming, "Boycott the U.S. and their lack of laws and rule!!!" so many people in America would have been pissed off. I just think "We the people of the United States..." need to get our priorities together. Remember the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.
