this piece of crap sits in court looking like none of this applies to him...he's a monster. and the church moved him around and facilitated him to keep doing his vicious sick crimes. it is unforgiveable. if i were catholic i would have spit on the vatican. in fact i DO spit on the vatican for this. he had many victims, and the archdiocise of boston paid out millions in settlements...but they protected his pedophile acts for years!! where is the holy see?? the church is complicit in the rape of children. i have no respect whatsoever. and i hope he gets his in prison. i have NEVER said that about an inmate. i'll make an exception here.

Finally.......................... This is one of the VERY BIG reasons I abandoned my Catholic upbringing Many many years ago... The clergy involved are no better than the mafia.. wearing dresses.. I wouldnt give them a dime for a chocolate bar.. This subject drives me OUT OF MY MIND. DIRTY... SOB.. DASTARDLY animals

You know its been this way always...Where does it say they have to be celibate?

How do they have the audacity to counsel people.. regarding famlily and marital affairs when they dont lead normal lives? Their living expenses paid for by the church... which parishoners pay for with their envelopes in the collection baskets

Capt, I had the benefit of and "Education" at the hands of Catholic brothers and because of it despise all organised religions in general and Catholocism in particular, it is wrong to do so i know but I don't think it will ever go away for me.

My heart bleeds for the children who were subjected to the twisted thinking of these monsters.. and also for the parents who thought they had put their children in holy hands. Many of the nuns did quite a job on young girls also. It wasnt like Whoopi Goldberg in Sister Act.. Thats for sure....

closing arguments in this case just wrapped up, and it's going to the jury. i don't expect the jury to be out too awfully long....note, this defrocked pedophile's correct name is shanley...it should be turning up on sexual offender registries.

he has been found GUILTY on all counts, he is 74 years old and will spend the rest of his life in prison i am sure. too bad it couldn't be longer than whatever years he has left.
