A co-worker turned me onto this internet bluegrass station. It's pretty cool. If you'd have told me 10 years ago... even 5... I'd be listening to bluegrass, I'd have had to slap ya silly! But it's pretty cool! I guess I found a liking for it after I saw Brother Where Art Thou, which was on TNT last night again! I really like that movie! But still have yet to see the middle of it!

Anyone remember this one? From 1995? It is a tribute to Kurt Cobain (KC) but in an ironic twist, the singer, manager, and bassist of the band were killed in a car accident before their debut (and last) album was was ever released. But it is a gorgeous song--and an amazing album.

Yeah - the music always follows my mood and not the other way round.
I love a dirty guitar sound most of the time, but my ears are also receptive to something mellower, even opera sometimes.
For passion, no-one compares with Springsteen. I've been on a high all day after getting a ticket to see him in Manchester in May. Tickets for The Boss are as rare as rocking-horse sh1t but I made a pact with another devotee and she got lucky where I drew a blank.

He he...receptive ears...the mind boggles. The speaker designers at work are said to have 'golden ears'....I'm just a 'music peasant' ...love everything as long as it's not too loud although I do like queen and the Who and Dire Staits...ok i know it's old stuff but hey...I'm a golden oldie myself
Not long for Springsteen then...have you been to one of his gigs before ?

Yeah - this is a pic I took of him in Milan. the exposure was too long as he asked for no flash, but it kinda captured the moment.

I can't get into Bruce--at ALL. Like a track here and there--but his everyman persona and his weak vocals just wear on me a bit.

First off, the album Billion Dollar Babies
I'm just wondering what happened to my Billion Dollar note. Last time I saw Alice he dashed right in front of me and went into a cinema in Hollywood. Doesn't quite count as a claim to fame does it? I knew I should have tripped him up or something
And another thing. Why did Muscle of Love come in that stupid cardboard box?
