Easter Friday will be spent digging a hole in the middle of the road.

Saturday will be spent discussing who is responsible for the hole in the middle of the road.

Sunday will be spent praying for the hole in the middle of the road.

Monday will be spent fulfilling the hole in the middle of the road.

In the meantime, on Friday, I will have a basic meal of potatoes with alcohol to represent the physical and the spiritual as one. I will paint the cross in lamb's blood above my front door so I can enjoy my vegetarian meal in peace on Saturday. On Sunday, I shall do nothing, and on Monday, I will do everything I originally planned to do on Saturday but forgor due to sharing spiritual things with friends.

Sheryl, my grandma always made us dirt & the kids all loved it! Grandma passed away 2 years ago, and took the recipe with her. I tried to make it from taste once, but it didn't get quite right. Do you have a recipe??

my son just moved to a nearby town, which is a good thing, for both of us! i knew he would be here today to get some clothing, etc. so i went out and bought him a fresh turkey and all the stuff to go with it. so Easter i am not cooking, but he and his roomie are going to do the whole turkey dinner thing. i'd like to be the proverbial fly on the wall!

My mother would always make a simnel cake for Easter Day. The best I can manage are simnel slices from M and S.

this is too funny. my son just called me, he had put the turkey in the oven, but wanted to know when to put the stuffing in! so i had to tell him to take the turkey out of the oven and how to make the stuffing. now he's mad at me for laughing and says he'll never call me again! :yh_rotfl
