Well, it's not *really* a case of "yuck!" - the thing is that the logo, added to the rest of the gubbins on the screen, takes up (while I'm triping this moment) over half the screen. Added to "avatars", other information extraneous to the actual "posts", and odd fonts and effects, it makes the "usable" portion of the screen rather small (and rather work-unfriendly).
Someone passing my desk just now has made the remark "Rum garden???" - standing back a couple of feet, I can see the reason!
I did prefer the more "natural" old logo, though....

(what did they thing the F.O. stood for)
That's probably a case of "better not ask"!
The design in the "O" or stylised people looks remarkably familiar to my eyes - something to do with recycling rubbish? A council logo? Save the children? Perhaps another UK-er who has a sharp mind will recall.

I hope you don't have to reboot! You should be able to reload the page, or flush your browser's cache. If you're using Internet Exploder I seem to remember it's under tools->preferences or something.

The logo looks to me like the one that the council puts on litter bins. :-3

Yes, from home or wherever too.

Yes, it's a pity there isn't a "no smileys or special effects" option.
