When I was younger I wouldn't leave my room without makeup an inch deep on my face! Foundation, powder, eyeshadows~ 3 shades, eyeliner, blusher, lipstick, lip liner, pollyfilla, plaster of paris..... you name it, it was caked on my phys!
But nowadays...... I just can't be arsed! :wah:

I wear concealer, for circles under the eyes, foundation to help cover the concealer LOL and eye shadow. Work, play, or just cleaning house, I usually just wear these 3 items. If I feel good about myself wearing it, I will be happier and more productive IMO.

I'm an Avon lady, so of course my make-up drawer is full of different types of foundation, concealers, powders, creamy eyeshadows, powder eyeshadows, blushes, eyeliners, lip liners. Basically you name it, it's in there.
I don't wear alot of make-up though. I usually just make sure I have my spf on and that is it. If I do wear make-up, I go with neutral colors for day and gold tones for night.

I'm with LC on wearing eye liner, I still prefer the liquid, hate the pencil ones.
Shadow, lipstick and maybe blush-hopefully I don't need much more.

I use "Bare Minerals makup" It is all powder nothing pressed. Start with a little Mineral Veil, then, a little clear radiance (pink), then blush bada bing done.. All very nautral looking. If I need a little dark eye concealer Clinique had great ones. Eyeliner is either Black or dark dark Violet liquid by MAC great stuff. Lipstick is MAC as well Pro longwear Lustre lip color call "All Nighter", Mascara is black or violet by "Bourjois". Takes me all of 5 minutes done. On the weekends I don't do makeup at all. I have green eyes and just use black mascara on the weekends..!!;)

If it's my day off, you can't get me in anything more than mascara. When I work, I use a loose powder over moisturizer, a loose really blendable pinkish shadow that I put on my lids and cheeks, a layer of dark blue liner, followed by black, curled lashes, mascara, lip liner and lip gloss. I freaking HATE wearing all that crap on my face, but when I tried working with just mascara, people kept asking me if I was feeling sick.
I don't spend a lot of money on makeup, I buy the cheap stuff sheerly out of spite. I do splurge on skin care stuff, though, that's different.
When riding season finally gets here, it's hair in a full leather wrap and not a stitch of makeup. It all just gets blown off anyway.

When I was a teenager I followed the Dusty Springfield look...white face and 'panda' eyes ...lol...(and big hair)
Now i'm fairer...(yeah grey..) I use very light eyebrow pencil, brown mascara and natural glossy lipstick. Eyeshadow for special occasions...don't use any foundation etc on my face...the tiniest bit feels like plaster ! Really posh occasions I might wear a little blusher - not many of those though
My daughter suggested i might have black streaks put in my silvery hair....Cruella Deville immediately sprang to mind..:yh_rotfl
I never buy expensive stuff, but have just discovered Marks & Spencers do a good range. At the moment you can buy 3 items and get the lowest priced free....bargain.

If I'm at home then it's the hag look! LOL! Hair up in some sloppy bun and just moisturizer and lip balm!:D
for going out in public, I do foundation, blush, powder, and lipstick. If I'm wearing my glasses I leave the eyes nekkid and If I'm wearing contacts I'll definitely wear mascara and sometimes eyeliner, a pukey green color that matches my eyes!:D

Hey...I've got pukey green eyes too...lol...musky mauve eyeshadow emphasises the green sunny.
Mine look their age now, but I love having green eyes. I used to dye my hair red because I thought they complimented each other....gawd...where did those days go ?

until about the age of 32 I wouldn't leave my room without my full "Face" on... I was a teen model... long story... went thru a lot of changes at 32, found myself n' sh*t...
now I'm sitting at the public library with nothing on my face but overhead lights... ACK! :p
I still wear quite a bit of makeup though.. to work everyday... I buy mostly Revlon, Loreal, Covergirl... but for dressin' up at night and knockin' em dead :sneaky: I use Maybelline Pancake makeup (plaster- hehe)
Eyeliner- I use to use liquid... now i only use pencil. And some women still make the mistake of dressing like we did in the 80's and putting the liner above their bottom lashes... ladies! It goes underneath... makes your eyes look even bigger!
Also just a tip... blush should be applied from the sideburn/ear area under the cheekbone, out toward the nose, stopping even with the center of the eye...
oh yeah, the bulk of your liner should stop center-eye also... it widens
for fuller lips? use two similar shades... put the dark one on the top lip... "smack/rub" onto bottom lip, this will leave a hollow area... fill with slightly lighter shade.
I could go on, but I'm not sure if anyone was askin for suggestions... HAHAHA

I am an Avon person. I used to sell it but stopped only a couple of months ago got too busy with school. I have lots Avon. I like to wear foundation when I am working and sometimes blend cheek color. I prefer earth tones but do wear lots of pinks too. Avon has a lipstick that is called Cherub that is my favorite pink. I always wear eyeliner and mascara. And I use lipliner too.
It is easy to find an Avon rep. They also have other products; bath stuff, many other things. I may go back to selling it when I get my new job and get into my new place in April.

Nail polish - try Dior they are a bit pricey but really good especially the reds real deep blood red and it lasts ..or try ebay unopened, boxed, half the price but still the same product. Anyone ever used a white eye pencil inside your bottom lash ..try it it really makes your eyes look bigger.

Sounds good, mrsK. Mine have gone all weird, sort of some grey, some brown and some indescribable...and they're all dry and unmanageable...
