A new concealed law...

Post by BabyRider »

More and more states have allowed residents to carry hidden weapons in recent years. Only Illinois, Nebraska and Wisconsin still have no such law, though Nebraska is close to adopting one. Except for Vermont and Alaska, the states require a person to obtain a permit before carrying a concealed weapon.

Sebelius became the first Kansas governor to have a veto overridden in 12 years.

Bullet is, or, will be again once he is found innocent.

WAAAAY too hard to get in California, dagnabbit. My sister in Idaho has

one, and my B-I-L. They figured they'd better 'cause they carry when

they go 4 wheelin' in case they come across a need. Of whatever type.

Stashing it down me cleavage - does that count as concealment?

In Australia, Far, 17 people would probably be charged with manslaughter unless it could be shown that the alleged (grin - they all saw him but he's still innocent until proven guilty in a court of law) perpetrator was threatening lives with a similar weapon. And the perp's family would probably sue as well.

Mr. FAR RIDER.............:wah:

I have a permit to carry a concealed weapon, any make/model. Here in PA, one has to make application, they run the info through the NCIC data base, and when approved, one pays $25 for a 5 year permit, which looks like a driver's license with your photo on it. A month prior to the expiration date, you receive a letter in the mail notifying you to renew and the process starts all over again.
