Blimey - how alike we are!!
I've had to stop buying Sticky toffee pudding and custard as I was strangely drawn to the kitchen cupboard, late evening, on a regular basis. In it's place I seem to have developed a desire for corn-flakes at night.

Canada has tossed out that aussie tourism ad not because it contained 'bloody' or even 'hell' - but because it apparently offered to 'buy you a beer'
Whichever blue blooded English prince is in Oz right now (?Eddie?) visited a blue tongue lizard yesterday at a Sydney zoo
Some poor bloke is Afghanistan got dobbed in by his rellies for converting to Christianity and is to be executed for this crime
On the last.. probably world media will be too politically correct and new age sensitive to raise much of an outcry. Of course if someone in Australia was to get the chop for converting to Islam there might be a few demos.
I got girl guide cookies from Floppy earlier this weekend, funny thing I love to read the bits of trivial information on packaging of food, you know the promo stuff well I had the box of peanut butter cookies in my hand and was turning it about in my hand looking for the "english" side forgetting Canada has to be the only freakin country with 2 official languages so all our packaging has an english side and a french side ahahahahahah

I don't get it we Canucks never turn down a beer hmmmmmmmmm
Yeah, Minks. That kinda surprised me. Actually the Aussie Tourism ad in question must be one of the most successful ads ever. Everyone saw it. The media in umpteen countries took it up.. Shock horror etc. People got their knickers in twists, chocked over their spotted dick. The FG even has a thread devoted to this. WOW. Wish I'd written the copy!!
G'day Sojo!!! Very autumn here now - my penguin enhanced swim on Sunday may be the last ocean dip I get for a while now... nar... I'll probably still hit a wave or two even if I hafta break the ice first.

What is a girl guide? Like a TV guide? grin

Hi Pam --- at least the swim was memorable....... Your new sig pic is awesome!
Sheryl did good, Sojo!! Thanks... And ha ha ha.. Okie !!!! There may be one at your door selling cookies, as I write. Canucks are OK by me, Minks!!!!!! ... I got unofficially adopted at Steamboat Springs in Feb by the Burlington Ontario Ski Club - and you couldn't ask for a better bunch of companions, both on slope and after. Canadians certainly know how to ski.. and how to party!!!
That was actually a pretty good signature line, Basco. Think I might oughta go back to it. I'm in mega restless mode today. Autumn usually does this to me. Gonna head fer the hills... literally.. grin. See ya later!!!
MMmmm... looking at me signature pic... I'm not really sultry at all.. much more kind of detached... like the huntress in the little av. Grin. Still maybe I could learn sultriness????? Time for a reinvention, probably anyway. (Or is this just my restless nomadic wandering type psyche niggling at me.... gotta hit the road... )

I think this might be too much information, Snooze!!
It's cloudy and dreary today, perfect day to read a book. But I have no books to read, and public library isn't open. Dang it why did the librarian think she needed the extra income and try to transport 1500 lbs of marijuana back to our town. :-5

No.....NO!!!!!! Don't do it Nomad!!! DON'T!!!! If you change one hair on your nearly perfect head, I will personally come to your house and soundly trounce you in your own kitchen. I can do it, too. Don't think I won't. Just watch.

Bullet's trial was a farce. Can I get an AMEN?????
Friday night's drunks night
Funny you should say that MrsK....I am filling in on Wednesday and Thursday for a bartender who is on vacation. I have never worked a Wed. or Thurs. before, as the one who's on vacation is one of those 100% reliable, never misses one second of work, type people. Well, the waitress who works Thursdays warned me: "We call Thursdays "Full moon Thursdays, so watch out." I figured she was yanking my chain a bit, but holy crap....every weirdo within a 50 mile radius found their way to my bar tonight. I've seen some strange sh!t in that bar, most nights are at least odd, but tonight??? Record book oddball. Freaks, idiots, psychos and brainless dorks. I tossed 7 people, got in arguments with 4 others and had a flat-out screaming match with another. WTF is going on around here??!?!?!?!!!!?!?!?!! :-5
*whew* I feel better now.... :yh_bigsmi
