In vitro fertilization

Many of you besides Babyrider do not know about this. But I really need to tell you all because I need as much support as possible.

11 years ago my husband and I tried to start a family. Eight years later I found out I was pregnant. Two months later I found out that it was a tubal pregnancy. After losing the baby, my other tube to endometriosis, part of my left ovary to a cyst and my appendix, the only way I would get pg would be by IVF. Four months later we tried with no success. It was extremely heartbreaking. The emotions were way out of the norm and to this day are still unexplainable.

Well, we were able to freeze 11 embryos and this Thursday I will be having 7 of those 11 embryos transferred into my uterus.

I asked that everybody cross your fingers, toes, arms and legs for us, because this will be our last chance to ever be parents. Maybe if we get all of the support possible, the outcome will be successful.

Tiger, you know me, Bullet, my sister and my parents are all keeping our EVERYTHING crossed for you!! This time this will work. You and hubster were meant to be parents. Any child would be lucky to have you, and what a wonderful place you guys have for a child or children to grow up!!

What will you do with a multiple pregnancy besides be overjoyed?

I also had two ectopic pregnancies and lost both my fallopian tubes, my heart goes out to you.

I truly hope all goes well for you and have everything crossed for you both x.

You are in my PRAYERS tonight and every night, and I hope it all works out so a new baby will be here this time next year.:-4

My younger sister went through everything you have gone through, almost losing her life on the last tubal pregnacy. They tried Invitro several times, and on the last try it worked my niece is will be 21 in August and is a Junior at Stanford University. After that they tried again 5 years after my first niece was born, my second niece was born she will be 16 in August of this years and is a Junior at Torey Pine High school in Del Mar California. Yes it can and does work even after destroyed tubes, adhesions and numberous surgeries.

So keep your hopes up, and we will all pray that this happens for you and your husband, the power of prayer is a powerfull thing Tiger..!! :-6

Well, here is an update on my progress...On Thursday last week I went in for the embryo transfer, and they were only able to insert three of the eleven that I had frozen. Although I wanted seven, at least I got three. I have been taking it easy and keeping a positive outlook. I won't know the results for least another week.

So keep all of your extremities crossed!!!

So, it is official! I am pregnant with one perfect baby! I had an ultrasound yesterday and I heard the baby's heart beat for the first time, 119 bpm! I cried and said, "Now that makes it real for me!" I am six weeks along and will be due on December 14, 2006.
