I do the same thing. But I chicken out and place my bid about 40 seconds before it closes. Unless it jumps up too high in the minute before.

Yeah Okie, ya don't talk back to sulphur cresteds. As fer koalas - they're pretty wimpy critters, Wolvie. The might scratch you if you grab one, but they're more famous for their er incontinence when fraternised with.

If someone has placed a maximum bid theyre showing bid is what you bid over but if the max bid is higher than your bid theirs will automatically over ride yours so your right you have to allow some wiggle room. Its fun though huh ?

Ive got 2/12 hrs left on a bid so Im getting antsy. :wah:

I know that feeling. I have put an item on watch for like 4 days and then placed a bid forty seconds before it clsed. I always make my bid as high as I would go but most times it dont go that high. I do lose some. Have you gotten stiffed there. I think I have about three or four times but never much money involved.

I got to Half.com a lot and of course to amazon. NO bids there
