Im awake ... but its 5am now. Why is it my dear that you are sleepless so often?

I dont know you... but Like everyone else here.. I have a picture of you in my mind. I picture a young, lovely talented artist. Going to school and working. But I never hear you mention friends or family. Do you do things for fun? If you ever need help talking about what is stressing you... please write. Maybe we could comfort you. I also think your very shy. Dont be offended at my presuming to draw a profile. For some reason, this morning I felt it was time to reach out to you. I have had many lonely nights... when the world was asleep and I was awake. Looking at the stars.. wishing I had someone to share my load with.

Sleep? What is sleep? I was awake at 2:30am, 4:30 am, and now at 6:30. That's the most I've slept here lately.

You too? Peg. Many of my friends seem to be going through this. For us its the ravages of menopause. There doesnt seem to be a remedy. The sleepless phases come and go..............................

Thats for sure.... It isnt Seattle.. Shenandoah Valley... not a living soul around after 9pm. Beautiful, but very lonely. In the middle of the night its like your the only one alive.....

Yes, A moustache!!!! Sleeplessness.... facial hair... mood swings.. all part of that charming phase of life called menopause. Where the hell did they come up with that name. I guess it goes with all the others like.. TAMPAX... MIDOL... UTERUS...

HYSTERECTOMY.. Charming. But then nowdays they tell us.. we are supposed to look at this time in life, as just another adventure. So I guess when we cant sleep we are supposed to put on skiing garb... or get out the mountain climbing equiptment.... or pitch a tent in the living room and start a campfire...:wah:

Men don't WANT to believe it exists.

Mornin' all. Just got home from work, it's now 3 am, and I just worked the craziest St. Patty's day of my life. But it was fun!! Only one guy got out of hand. Amazing with that many drunks all in one place.

Weeder, there is a woman in an affiliated club who is about 4' 9" and probably weighs 175, and has the thickest, coarsest moustache I have ever seen. It is truly frightening. Should I introduce her to Nair, or waxing or something???

All this talk of magnifying mirrors and glasses makes me go cold. I only look in non magnifying mirrors, in dim light and with my eyes narrowed. If I can't see "it" then it isn't there, whatever the "it" might be...and then I can go on my merry way in complete and comfortable oblivion.

Tell her to get surgi cream. I think any woman who has a really furry moustache must know she has it. Ive seen it many times. It makes me sick. Sometimes I think ... Maybe this person is really standing on their head... with their pants down. Maybe it isnt a moustache. Maybe its that their bottom has eyes. Its got to be that their husbands like it. Or that they use it to dust the furniture or something.:lips:

No she doesnt..... shes using it as an excuse. for anything and everything. Some women start using it as an excuse when their about 40. My dad always says. " Women are not interested in sex after menopause" I always tell him " Dad, if their not interested after menopause.. they werent interested before. I have a ton of female friends who are approaching it... in it.. or over it.... and we are still wildly interested. Even if its only in our dreams.

I was stressing because of my toxic environment where I was living. I left there at 4 a.m. on Wedesday of Thursday morning to go an stay in a shelter at a Baptist church. My roommate at that place evicted me after I lost my job. so at least where I am living now, I can sleep. And I am now looking for a new job. I found a new palce to live and put a $200 deposit on it. So the owner said I could move in like later next month, when I get the rest of the rent and deposit. So now I know what was giving me insomnia, it was the horrible place and people where I was living.

But now I still have my pc at the old place, till I move my stuff next weekend. So I am at the library.

Thanks for your concern.
