Why should a liter of water cost more than the average price paid for a liter of gasoline (petrol). Think about what is involved in producing both. Bottled water in my view is one of the biggest rip offs on the consumer ever. Even in cities where the tap water is excellent, people continue to buy the bottled crap. People are like a bunch of damn sheep and seem to follow without any thought. I think I will buy some stock in a bottled wate company. Profits have just gotta be huge.

I'm like you Lon. I drink tap water. I've no idea where the bottled water came from or what's been added to it. Tap water is one of the safest sources of drinking water.

Unless the pipes are rusty, like at my school. Then I bring in my own water-not that fancy stuff you pay big bucks for, just water from home. I have enough to drink with my diet cokes in the 'frig..............................
