Have any of you tried the Olay in-shower body lotion??? Oh gawd, I love this stuff. I liked it the first time I tried it, and then got the idea to use it when I was shaving my legs.....it it fabulous. It works just like conditioner for your hair, only it's for your skin. Once you've washed, apply it all over and rinse. And absolutely try it for shaving.

If you haven't tried it yet, do. It's a great and inexpensive way to pamper yourself!!

No, but I will give it a try. I just love Olay products. I am addicted to the Regenerist line and love the results.:)

hmmmm sounds lovely, how does it work, you use it in the water, what is left behind to make your skin feel so good? Is it scented? :( I have to steer clear of most make up and skin care products beyond... water due to stupid allergies, I feel so ripped off

Hot diggity, BR. Talk about coincidences. I was just using that stuff.

minks wrote: hmmmm sounds lovely, how does it workThe ingredients list gives a hint of how it works. Mostly it's water and petrolatum (that's Vaseline), some Glycerin (called E422, it's a moisturiser or a sugar depending on what you do with it - I put it in Royal Icing mostly) and Dimethicone (more commonly called silicone rubber). There's some heavy-chain alcohols to coat your hair and skin and stop them from flaking so much, an emulsion stabilizer (Cetyl Hydroxyethylcellulose), Dimethiconol for conditioning, DMDM Hydantoin and Phenoxyethanol to stop it going off on the shelf (they kill bacteria), Montmorillonite for thickening (it's a clay), Disodium EDTA as a precautionary mop in case there's impurities in the raw materials, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate for fungicide, Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine to fluff your hair out (is that called added volume? I'm never quite sure of the right words), and finally Glutamic Acid, which is a constituent of DNA and frankly I've no idea at all why it's there.

I haven't tried shaving with it yet.

Minks, no wonder we're allergic to these things!! They're full of chemicals. I have to buy perfume free products, and all the brand names are full of chemicals as well. I now buy my soaps from a local lady who makes her own and sells them in a shop in our town.

These sound great! I must try them!

I love using Jean Paul Gaultier Body Lotion, it smells gorgeous, but its a bit expensive to use all the time!

Can anyone recommend a good eye cream to wipe out those little lines that appear under your eyes in the morning?

Do you know even scented deoderants are killer for me, and unscented gets harder and harder to find.

Secret Platinum for some odd reason doesn't bother me at all...

but really the most successful deodorant I've found... (and believe me i've been a-searchin... is dove... seriously.)

*successful means... it works... smells good or not at all... AND does not make me itch or break out or sneeze!!! :-6

I'll have to try that!:)

I use Olay on my face, I don't have wrinkles thanks to my eastern european olive skinned genetics:D , but I do wake up with puffy eyes! Is there anything good for that, or do I have to walk around all squinty-eyed forever??:D

Jenny, do you get Olay products there? I can find this stuff everywhere, it's not a specialty thing at all. My local drugstore, department store, (Target), even in the supermarket. Any place that sells Olay body wash, deodorant, etc., should have it. It does come in several styles, too. My favorite is the "silkening radiance." Geeze but they come up with some goofy names for our stuff, don't they?? :yh_bigsmi

Someone asked for a reccommendation for the tiny lines around the eyes, yes? I got a sample pot of Avon Anew clinical line and wrinkle corrector. (Could they have come up with a longer name???) Long name or not, I love this stuff, and the teeny tiniest amount of it does the job. I dot it on at night after I wash my face and just blend it, don't rub it in all the way. I only use it once or twice a week, too, so it lasts forever.

Tiger, you will love this stuff if you like Olay. Let me know which style you like. You can get smaller bottles so you can try a couple different ones. I buy the giant bottle now.....I'm hooked!

Ohh BR, your gonna die and go to heaven when you try the new eye cream from Avon. It's the Anew clinical eye lift. Two eyecreams in one jar. One is for the upper and the other is for the lower eye. If you can get ahold of a Campaign 7 brochure, there should be a sample on the front cover.
