A macabre scandal in which corpses were plundered for body parts could be even bigger than previously disclosed, with one company alone saying it has distributed thousands of pieces of human tissue that authorities fear could be tainted with disease. The tissue taken was typically skin, bone and tendons. Investigators earlier found the bodies were returned to funeral homes for burials with plastic plumbing pipe crudely stitched into limbs where bones had once been.

FULL STORY ...this worries me. when my knee was blown out i got an ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) from a cadaver. now i am worried it could come back to haunt me...what the hell, i didn't want someone elses ACL anyway!!

Funnily enough, i read an article in one of the daily's last week about a young guy who died while on holiday in the states

and when his body was flown home his vital organs were missing.

The coroner in the states said the organs were returned to the body and was sealed in the coffin,

now the poor mother wants some answers, also the coroner here in Britain needs the organs to do an autopsy before they issue a death certificate.

Now thats just plain wrong especially in this day and age when we know so much about diseases!:-5

That's really low. It saddens me that there are so many people who have no respect, who will do anything for money.
