I'm too cheap for HBO.

i'm not too cheap for HBO, i just refuse to have a converter box. if my brother were not taping for me, i'd get the season-end DVDs. the series is riveting!

Last night on 'Sopranos' (spoilers) ... anyone watch it?
The Sopranos
Sopranos is great to watch. We have it here in the U.K. I have though chosen to watch it on DVD. I have bought boxed sets Series 1,2 & 3 so when there is nothing good on the box I just have a Soprano Night. Despite it's violence, I watch it for the great humor with-in it.
The Sopranos
love, love, love the sopranos! my most memorable scene was the ending of season 4 (i think) when tony and carmella split up. oh my goodness...what great performances. my hubs turned to me and said..."dang...i feel bummed out (laughter)...that seemed so real...i hope they work it out."
the first episode was awesome! this season is going to be a good one!

i understand Clipper's point, i'm Italian, and my Dad LOATHED mafia thug types! but the fact is the dramatizations, like 'godfather', have been great entertainment and morality plays.
