Ok I'll admit I'm one of those who can't but to cheer on the underdog. And my husband said that he looked just like a kid he went to college with that was called birdass.

And yea I was laughing when they showed his body double, espicially since what my husband had said who he looked like. :wah:

Hey, TG, Chris is married. At least, he has a wedding band on. I HOPE they're not having something going on.

I LOVED Mandisa the other night!! She totally ROCKED!!! It's not fair not to vote for her, just cuz hubby doesn't like her, IMO. Is it something personal?

I voted for Taylor & Gedeon & Kevin last night. Even though, I think Will will go tonight & either Gedeon or Kevin.

I think that Kinnik & Melissa might go tonight too.

What do you think?

You must've missed the video where Chris talked about his kids.

I think you're right on all counts. It's sad that Taylor won't win, but I hope he stays until the end. I love that voice!

And Ace blew the roof off last night. Very impressive! They're probably debating right now whether to let is slip that he's gay. It'll gain some guy votes but lose some girl votes. :yh_think hmmmm What to do? What to do?

Honestly, I was more impressed with Taylor than Ace. Ace, IMO, was just OK, as Simon said.

So, after I watched the males perform last night, I would have to say that Taylor was the best, Bucky was really good too, and Chris. They are my top three for the guys! I love watching Taylor perform, he just puts a smile on my face and makes me feel good. He is my pick for idol!:guitarist

I literally broke down into tears when Kevin sang Vincent! And I got goosebumps when Mandisa sang the other night. There are a lot of people who do have the look. If that was the case years ago, we probably wouldn't have Aretha Franklin or Ray Charles. She's extremely talented, that's what counts.

Ayla was that tall athlete, right? She was definitely not the worst. Her voice was pretty powerful.

Yep, that's her. I was surprised. I thought Melissa was going. Ayla cried. Felt bad for her. I don't think she's used to losing.

I think Chris and Ace are gonna go far on their looks, but I still like Elliot and Taylor better.

Not sure what it was bout Gidion that made me think he was so cocky, guess it was just me.

Well, once again, I thought Mandisa was dynamic!! And I also thought Taylor did a great job! I liked his hair last night, too! It had a little more style to it.

Unfortunately, I think it's time for Kevin to go. He just doesn't have it going on. I wasn't real impressed with Melissa either.

I really like Kellie (she's been one of my faves), but that whole dumb southern girl routine is kinda wearing thin now. Makes me wonder how much she's playing the people, ya know??

What do you guys think?

I agree on all counts. I was disappointed with the other 16-year-old girl (I forget her name but not Paris). She's far better than that performance.

Katherine is very polished. Do you think she may be too polished?

I'm starting to like Katherine more as the weeks wear on. But she DID have voice lessons from her mom all her life. Quite an advantage. She's roommates with Kellie, did you know that?

You were saying about Lisa Turner. I agree. That wasn't her best performance. But then, I'm just not a huge Stevie Wonder fan... please don't hate me!

1/2 hour show. Stevie sang something new (I missed most of it) and Melissa got the boot.

Ace & Lisa were also in the bottom 3.

Boy, was I shocked at who the bottom three were. I really thought that Kevin, Kellie and lisa would be the bottom three. Although I was relieved to see the three that I voted for, safe.

I really liked Melissa's voice and was disappointed to see her go...
