Sweater cleaning?

A very nice person recently gave me several Angora

sweaters. Gently worn... HA some of them still had

tags on!

Anyway, all the labels say hand wash only... and I was

wondering if any of you have tried Woolite and delicate

cycle in the washing machine...

I do have a nice sweater dryer so that part isn't a

problem...

I have heard a top load washer with aggitator is bad for delicates as it well quite simply... aggitates the heck out of them.....

a front load is gentlerr but...... how much gentler and if it is good for angora is beyond me. I am old school and believe in hand washing such things.

i agree with Minks...i would soak and handwash angora with woolite.

I know isn't it just amazing? I've had a couple cashmere in my life but

somehow these just seem really decadent...

Her shoe size is 8 1/2, too, and she's nearly Imelda. Got some very nice

leather pumps...
