I prefer being laconic on this subject, but I observe, as did Lennon, that Religion is at the root of almost all global conflict and disagreement.

Organised politics and organised religion. The desire to force someone to lead the life you think would be better for them, unless you believe in the principle of l'aissez faire. Do I want to be non-political? Not a relevant question, really, since I would like to see changes made in our world.

The only thing I can do is pray for everyone's well-being and be compassionate.
