What keeps you interested in the Forum Garden? Have you made Friends here? How many hours a day do you spend here? Should there be an annual meeting place? :lips:

I spend too many hours here.I have paper work up to my arm pits that Ive neglected. I try to stay away.. This feels like a new family Ive acquired. And its been interesting to learn.. just like family.. you grow very fond of all the members despite differences. If you can see beyond the posting.. you discover there are many life lessons to be practiced learned here..Patience, Tolerence, Self restraint, trust, open mindedness, and respect for others. It all feels good.

I can talk as long as I want and nobody interrupts me. Well, the Captain tries but you can always get your last sentence out without someone typing over you.

The question is becoming: How many hours do I not spend in the Forum?

I have made some wonderful friends. And don't tell me I don't really know them. I know some people here better than I know friends I've had for ten years.

Me too, paper work up to the pits, i have had to take a break, i am not paying enough attention to my financials and business? Yes, we learn so much here about ourselves & others.

Do you think at some point even if its in 2 years, there should be a get-together for us plants, like a big bouquet? Yes we are a family to some degree, yes it gets hot, what the hell, were having a GOOD time... :)

A get together with all of us would really be something. An event to remember. It could be like a convention. Special day to remember.. I know that someday when we are not all here together anymore..(All good things come to an end... I will always remember this time as very special in my life. ) and be sad its gone. I am a work aholic... these months here have been very out of character for me.. but good for me also. Nice to hear from you. weeder

It could be The Forum Garden annual convention, or The Forum Garden Ball. We would probobly have to have it in Europe. What an event. Would be mighty interesting...If we wnet to Europe we could always see the sights if the Ball was boring

Sure they will. After all the work they'll let you have a bow while the waiters are clearing the tables. Everyone will go Hooray. And then they'll expect you to be happy enough to start up for the next years festivities.

You know the routine. By the time you get ready to play eveyone will be going home.

Sorry, I got off topic.

What keeps me interested in the forum garden. Everytime I come on I get to read a bunch of wonderful posts from nice people I may never get to meet in real life. I enjoy reading their posts because they are so right on that when you get past some of the rude, unthinking posters there is always someone that puts it all into a humourous, laughter ridden perspective. Laughter is good for the soul so being in the garden is good for the soul.

Have I made friends here? Yes. I believe I have. I believe that there are people that take me for who I am. (don't ask whatever you are thinking) I've met some very kind, understanding, caring people. Idiot posters are few and far between and when they are here they provide the comic relief. When we're lucky they will come back having caught the joke and appreciating the wonderful people that are in the garden.

My dog is beginning to have a dislike for the gardeneers because he has to plant himself in front of the screen to let me know that I am not paying enough attention to his needs. If you don't know it I have a cross between a British(mom) and America(dad) Staffordshire Terrier. Thank God he's a sweetheart and is understanding that his pet is forgetful.
