lol. A product designed to increase alcohol consumption in younger people? Yeah..like that's a good idea.

Of course enforcement is so strict that no underage drinkers will get their hands on it.

Oh...Hahahahahaha....umm..sorry.

[Ahhh don't knock it till you try it.

Our local brew pub makes a decedant raspberry beer and just across the border they make a mean huckleberry beer and it is very good stuff. Granted it is better beer to start with than your run of the mill big corporation beer like Bud.

Ah Praise the local beers they are so full of flavor.

lol. I think I remember being that strongly opinionated about beer...when I was 16. After I drank every kind there was and got a couple of decades older, realized the single most important ingredient in making a good beer... price! :wah:

Drank three cans of cheap danish beer in Friday and am still ill. New rule, forget the price go for quality. Joys of the EEC imported belgian german and french beer :guitarist Forget scots beer it's crap the only decent stuff made in scotland is foreign beer made under licence, I still get nightmares about double diamond rumour has it was all passed by the management. Can't stand ale prefer the white beers. Changed days, I rember when drinking stuff like stella artois marked you out as at best being a wimp and you only got it in a certain type of bar that I won't mention but you can probably guess. Ordering a pint of lager would stop the conversation and only the most pretentious would order a bud or a miller.

Incidentally we get the real budweiser here, made in czechoslovakia after a few you can't tell the difference never mind being able to read the label.

Some of it is very good, gmc! Some of it should only be used to paint the fence with, instead of creosote.

Ah! Watney's Starlite (SP?). Watney's Special. Excuse me..... (Whooosh! Whurp!).

Well, it was possible to get pissed, eventually, and give the kidneys a damn' good flushing...

White beer? What's that?

Yeah. We also get the other stuff, too. If you go out, you will notice spoty herberts drinking from 330ml. bottles at £2 per go. Presumably they think it looks "cool".

Have you tried any dark lager?

I mean the light coloured beers made from wheat and stuff rather than hops, Biere Blonde or whatever it is called.

Wheat beer, try Hoegarden if you see it, or Tesco's own brand is pretty good and cheaper.

Yep,didn't like it enough to go out of my way to get it. Plenty of real ale around just doesn't appeal to me.

Always amuses me, I remember when it was distinctly uncool, still drank it though, who cares what people think.

Erm, beer contains hops by definition... "blonde" is a form of lager (beer), wheat is beer made with (a proportion of) wheat replacing barley.

Yup, I've had that... gets hard to find new things!

In that case you should go to your local shop and buy some Weston's Vintage Cider to relax with and savour.
