KFC in a box, I'm still on the run at work! But that will be for then last time today, as Monday I retire. Then I suspect I will have more home prepaired meals.

Not too many though, don't want to gain on the tonage! :)

Dolphin friendly tuna on whole meal bread with no butter, rice cakes and two pieces of fruit, now back to the real world, a pig unfriendly bacon sandwich from Harry's cafe washed down with a cup of rosy lea, obviuosly HP brown sauce on said sandwich because anything else is the devil's work

If my neighbor doesn't quit slamming the door, I'm going to have HER for lunch! Grrrrrr ~

Actually, my coworker is treating me for lunch today at the Macaroni Grill. I'll have spaghetti and salad. Yum!

AK...Macaroni Grill...YUM!!!!!

I had New England clam chowder, a tiny pice of moussaka, and a piece of veal marsala, salad with creamy garlic dressing. (My restaurant may suck for tips, but we have GREAT food!!) :yh_bigsmi

P.S. CARS: Congratulations on your impending retirement! What'cha gonna do with yourself?

Ya I know, I'm bad. But it's good tasting poison, and I usually don't finish the whole thing!

Thanks BR, I'm a little anxious about retiring. The unknown is un-nerving.

Anyway, I plan to golf, fish, bowl, join old man's gym (Off peak hours) join club like Elks, Lions, or Masons or the like. Visit out of state relatives & friends, Sight-see, travel, maybe do some Red Cross volunteer work, and even probably spend some more time in the garden! :)

My step dad retired and about 2 months later he was working again. He's very active and got bored real quick, but it sounds like you have lots of plans for some fun activities! And if you really go nuts, you can always do something part-time. Hey, you make your own rules, ya know? Are you referring to this garden, or your garden in your yard? Good luck, and let us know how you're liking (or hating) retirement! :yh_peace

Sounds like a sugar-laden experience - I looked up "Mountain Dew" thinking it might be some sort of spirit, but no, it's fizzy drink.

I'm puzzled. Where are you? Why can't you get fresh tomatoes all year?

Pennsylvania, I can get shipping tomatos at the super market but those tomatos are as close to a fresh one from the garden as a kiss from your grandmother is to one from your girl friend.
