To Coan

Post by polycarp »

Varying moments have come and gone

Through the haze seek we which way to turn

Capricious seasons through we pass

As hopes sprout and wither like grass

At mirrors peered, yet saw not our faces

But tracks of vain on which the mind races

Hitherto your spring of treasures

Gushed incessant pristine pleasures

Fragrant as winding incense

Of all my joy the essence

May in your vats blessings rain

And the adornment retain

To ever emblazon your warm heart with bliss

As I say you’re loved through this poetic piece
A formula for tact: "Be brief politely, be aggressive smilingly, be emphatic pleasantly, be positive diplomatically, be right graciously".

I'm touched. I've never had poem dedicated to me before. Thank you.

Well it is a sincere attempt to inform a a real cool lady how special she is and how much she is appreciated. You actually more than deserve the honor Coan.
