Birthday Idea
I'm looking for a creative idea for a birthday present for my mom. We have the same birthday (June 26)- I'll be 18 and she'll be 33. I try to give her something different every year- last year I gave her two Cookies By Design boquets (which are super cute) that were perfect but am trying to think of something unique- does anybody have any creative ideas for what to give your mom for her birthday (at 33)? Thanks so much! :-4

Great idea Clipper, If you don't have that kinda money maybe just a pedicure and a manicure would be a special treat as well. We moms sometime forget to treat ourselve to facials, pedicures, manicures, or spa days.. She would love it I'm sure.
Give her a Gift Certificate for a whole day full-treatment at a fancy Spa. They'll do her head to toe and she'll come outta there feeling like a 20 year old....and look just as gorgeous too....
ps: Plan on dropping about $500 for this and mebbe more....but Mom's are worth it dontcha think?
WOO HOO!!, what a ride!!!"

Give her a unique teapot and continue it each year for a collection.

If you like to sew and be creative, why not make her something? I adore the things my kids make me, and they're unique, you'd never find anything like it in a shop!
Or get the kids you care for to make her a big card perhaps.
Or why not have a kids birthday party? You could make it your 18th Coming of Age party and her 15th, as she had you on her 15th birthday (young mum!) and she was probably too emotional at the time to celebrate her birthday. You could use it to thank her for having you and for 18 wonderful years. Bake a cake and decorate it half blue and half pink, for you both to share.
Enjoy your birthdays Hunnerbear and welcome to the garden!

I like Clipper's idea, let her treat herself at a spa! That would be a wonderful gift!

I like Rapunzels idea. Something fun and creative.

The Phote Stamps are a great idea. Maybe you could find a picture of her as a baby have them print Happy Brithday or World's Greatest Mom on them and buy her a sheet of stamps. Or maybe a picture of you and her together and use theses stamps just for special occasions.
I saw a thread here somewhere where the M & M company will print something on them for you. You could have Happy Birthday Mom printed on them and buy her a bag of special M & M's. You even get to choose what color you want.
I don't know how much money you want to spend but you could send her away for a weekend and while she's gone do-over one room in the house. Paint the walls, rearrange the furniture, hang some new prints or get some new lamps.
Or maybe buy her a summers worth of lawn mowing. She would think of you everytime her lawn is mowed (by a really buff guy. . . without a shirt on. . .hot and sweaty. . .with a tanned torso. . . . . BRB. . . .gotta go)

When choosing between two evils, I always like to take the one I've never tried before.

Those are all great ideas- in regard to the spa/beauty suggestion, my mom is the most high maintenance woman you'll ever meet in your life (and it rubbed off on me- though I was a little miss priss growing up, my mom and I are two peas in a pod
)! She's been receiving a manicure/pedicure on a regular basis my whole life- as well as a facial. I go occasionally- but don't prefer to go that much, my mom can't understand why LMAO
But I've never treated her to it before- so that would be a great idea to pay for it- and I spend quite a bit on her gifts now because I've been working all year. I also will keep in mind having my babies make a card for her- maybe we'll do one out of tissue paper and liquid starch (I'm having them make butterflies to hang from that method next week). I'll keep all your ideas in mind- let you know when I decide on one or more! And my grandpa is the lawn mower at our house, LOL. My birthday has been extra special to my mom every year- because I was born 3 mo. premature (I've grown up healthy and had no complications since I was 2- but my mom was so frightened I wasn't going to make it the first 3 mo. of my life that I was in the NICU and she also had some scares my first 2 yrs.) So yes, its our special day! :-4
