So tell us...what kind of patient was he during his hospital stay? A nurse's nightmare or the nurse's didn't want him to leave? I know with my own husband, they would have liked to duck taped his mouth and tied him down! :wah:

The wise man can pick up a grain of sand and envision a whole universe. But the stupid man will just lay down on some seaweed and roll around until he's completely draped in it. Then he'll stand up and go, Hey, I'm Vine Man.
I guess thats not really a question but Id be interested in hearing your thoughts.

He is an excellent patient, actually. He tries to make light of things when things are actually serious, and while he was in pre-op, he got hold of some 2 inch medical tape and a pen and made stickers for his head. Bikers usually decorate their helmets with different stickers and sayings, so, bored and loopy as he was, he did it to his bald head.
The first thing I saw when I got to his room after his surgery were these stickers all over his head with sayings like "I'm with stupid" and an arrow pointing at himself, and another that said "I'm not going bald, I'm getting more head" and "Warning: does not play well with others."
He had the whole pre-op ward, nurses and patients alike laughing their asses off.
He's a great guy with an awesome sense of humor.:-4

The A-#1 best concert I've been to is Creed. I took my son to his first rock concert when he was 13 and we saw Creed at the Palace. Scott Stapps voice is so incredible and distinctive, and the pyrotechniques were mind-blowing. We were both cracked when Creed broke up, but thankful we'd seen them in concert.
2nd best has got to be Ozzfest at Pine Knob. We saw Rob Zombie, Iron Maiden, Black Label Society and of course, Black Sabbath. I was deaf and hoarse for 3 days after that concert, and I will go every year he's here.

Gotta go with the gold wing, brown leather.
I'm not sure your assumption about Japanese bike riders is totally accurate. The M/C that my ol' man belongs to has tons of rice burners. There's also a group called the Southern Cruisers, (that's R/C, not M/C) that is to metric what the HOGS are to Harleys and they do TONS of charity work and are nationwide and in Canada. Something like 30,000 members.
What "things" are you referring to that Jap bike riders adopt? Need a little clarification on that one, please.
If you don't mind, I'm going to add your quote here, "I'm not wearing this helmet by choice" to my sig line.
Nice to see you back again.

Dear babyrider,
Are you well travelled ?
Where have you been that blew you away ?
Have you ever thought about leaving the Detroit area ?
I know you like the mountains, would you go south to the Smokies or west to the Rockies ?
Whats in your cd player right now ?
This is a fantasy question so dont think about it too much....If you could change one thing about yourself what would you change ?
Whats the last random act of kindness you yourself outwardly demonstrated ?
What was your favorite toy as a little girl ?
Were you good in school ?
If Orange County Choppers knocked on your door and said what do you want us to build you, what do you tell them ?
What about the colors ?

Not particularly. I've only been out of the country to Canada, and for us Detroiters that's like a day trip. I've been to most of the states, (Alaska and Hawaii are a couple exceptions) but it's been years since I travelled.
Where have you been that blew you away ?
Right here in my home state, the Porcupine Mountains and Lake of the clouds.

Every single day of my life.

I could write something very, very bad here, but instead I'll tell you about the little old couple who's car had died on them in a parking lot I was leaving. They were obviously confused, and no one was stopping to help them. I pulled up, got out my jumper cables and jumped the car, only to find it was out of gas. So I drove to the gas station and brought them back their gas, and made sure they were running before I left them. The little old dude kept trying to shove money at me, but that's not me. I felt awful for those people totally confused about their car and others walking by going, "Oh, look at the poor old people."
What was your favorite toy as a little girl ?
The nearest mud puddle.
Were you good in school ?
Well behaved good, or academically good?
I was usually well-behaved, except when the teacher would misspell a word, then I would get very irate when she didn't believe I was spelling it correctly. By the time I got to high school, I was a total hellion.
Academically, I was excellent. I started scool in 2nd grade. No pre-school, kindergarten or first grade, just straight to 2nd grade. I was reading at a college level by 4th grade. Then I got bored, and started blowing stuff off. I graduated by the skin of my teeth.
If Orange County Choppers knocked on your door and said what do you want us to build you, what do you tell them ?
All I care about is mini-apes, loud exhaust, and a springer front-end. The rest they could have creative freedom with.
What about the colors ?
TONS of chrome, Deep purple metal flake paint with a phantom black peace sign on the tank.

There's just something eerie and mystical about the Smokies. Can't really explain it. And I've seen Colorado and Wyoming. Only driven through the Smokies briefly.
Eventually, Bullet and I will ride through most of the country, I presume. Our honeymoon in July will be packing up the bikes and just going, wherever the breeze takes us, with our final destination being Florida.

Yea they are. You need to get off your bike to really experience the scenery, do some hiking, stretch your legs (and boobs)
Morning is way cool when the mist meets the sun. We were hiking up to a waterfall one day, we were about 5000' up and the trail opened up and dropped straight down to the left.
I freaked out, Im not real good with heights. I had to crouch there about 10 min hanging onto a small tree that was growing out of the rock.
Once we got to the top though whoooooo what a sight !

Because my bar is annexed to a Mexican restaurant, we have several margaritas and tropical-type drinks that run 7 or 8 bucks a pop. One being a "Toasted coconut." It has real cream of coconut, (we don't use the phoney pina colada mix), amaretto, spiced rum, Kalhua, and pineapple juice all blended with ice. Really REALLY yummy. There's also a margarite called a "Si, si si." It has three very expensive tequilas in it, along with Grand Marnier, (as opposed to triple sec) and I believe that one is 8 bucks. The amount and type of liquor is what determines the price. We offer one of the largest varieties of tequilas in the area.

2 little "manboobs" above their normal "tig ol' bitties"
why is that? bra too small? what?

Yep, that's it exactly. Put large boobs in a too small bra, the excess squishes up over the top. Just like a chunky person's gut squishes over the top of their pants.
I too, have a tequila horror story that I will share at a later date. Right now, I gotta go get ready for work. Then 2 days off!!! WOOHOOOOOO!!!! You guys are gonna get SOOOOO sick of having me around the next two days it's not even funny.....

BabyRider wrote: Because my bar is annexed to a Mexican restaurant, we have several margaritas and tropical-type drinks that run 7 or 8 bucks a pop. We offer one of the largest varieties of tequilas in the area.
both of those do sound yummy, but I love tequila..

You asked for it Clipper!!! I'm home from work, (it's 3:20 in the morning) and I'm all alone here in the Garden. Got nothing but fun stuff planned for the next two days, no "necessary" stuff, just frivolous. Mainly hanging here and shooting the breeze with you guys. You'll be glad to see me go on Friday, believe me....:sneaky:

Beautifully.
I ended up just getting the floor at the meeting and telling the girls just what I thought of their constant whining, tattling, complaining and general negative, miserable attitudes. I believe I made an impression, as they aren't coming to me with their complaints and they aren't tattling on each other to me anymore. We'll see how long it lasts, but for the time being, it worked like a charm.

Senerio....
You and Bullet were chosen for the TV show "Trading Spouses."
For a week you were sent to a country setting like Little House On the Praire and that woman came to live with Bullet. What do you think you would have learn about yourself from such an experience?

A way to hide a body so that it would never be found.

BR, Bullet seems like a down to earth "savvy" guy, and therefore, he knows your fears are out of your overwhelming love for him. In some respects it must even make him love you just that much more then he already does, knowing how deeply conserned you are for his well being. Just look at it as : There can be a Silver lining in every cloud!!!:)
