Well I've always wanted to travel the world, but especially Japan. I've always been fasicinated by the culture they have over there, and would love just to be able to experience it. That would be a dream!!

Yeah, theoretically I don't think there is anywhere I wouldn't want to visit except some very poor, war ridden countries.

I was telling one of my friends only yesterday that I'd love to go to the West Indies. He told me that his wife is actually over there at the moment.

I asked "Jamaica" and he said, "No, she went of her own free will"

True, for me just getting out of the house at times is a great experience, let alone travelling around the world. My younger cousin is doing that now as I speak, and I am sooooo jealous. Hopefully some day, I will be able to visit some of the beautiful sights and sounds on our world.

Oh my mistake, I wasn't trying to say that I can't get out of my house, just that I spend a lot of time with my family at home, and doing household chores etc, so just being able to go outside and breath in the fresh air, makes me feel more alive. That make any sense??! :p

Why thank u Jenny, I hope so too. Our big day with Minks in May, is really the only time that I've gone somewhere on my own in ages, apart from trips to the town and back.

I really should get out more!! :wah:

Sure does, we as humans spend a lot of time locked away indoors. That's for sure.

Yes so true, especially when you spend most of the day indoors at work, only to then go home for the day, and repeat that until the weekend. It's nice just to be able to go outside and watch the world go by you, without a care in the world.

I have always been interested with other cultures, so being able to travel the world, and be a part of other countries lifestyle and way of living would be brilliant.

Nope I live in a fair sized city, though to the north we have Birmingham (don't know if u have heard of it over there, but it's the second largest city in the UK.)

It kind of over shadows our city, but it's a nice place to live never the less, and has lots of historical roots, and is famous for several things, such as Worcester porcelain and the (horrid) Worcester sauce.

:wah: Well I wouldn't even go near Worcester sauce, the stuff is vile, and how anyone can like it is beyond me! :p

6000 to 7000 people in your town huh, wow that is pretty small. Though i guess most small towns tend to have a better community feel to them. I know my grandparents live in a really small village in the middle of nowhere, and everybody knows everybody there.

Same here Chris although I do have days out in the summer....we'll make May 6th a day to remember.

Do you drive ? Getting places by public transport seems to take ages, but it is less stressful. xxx

Hey I'm from Birmingham which is sandwiched between Worcester and Burton-on Trent.

I prefer Worcester because of the fantastic sauce.

Burton is responsible for making that awful Marmite (and various beers)

Driving past the Marmite place is a foot to the floor, windows up, vents closed and hold your breath experience :yh_sick

Oh May 6th will be a fantastic day that we will make sure!!! But you are right public transport is a lot easier and stress free than driving. I can't drive that's why I'm relying on my brother for the transport down to London, and I usually walk or catch the bus into and from town.

I'm usually a walking person, so if I can walk somewhere and the weather is nice then that is what I will normally do. I used to walk 5 miles to college every day, and that's what got me into walking I guess.

Ah in that case I guess that makes u the closest FG member to me then Uncle!! :)

Oh I hate marmite too, that stuff is awful, but then as I say I can't stand Worcester sauce either. I usually just stick with Tomato Ketchup myself.

Have you been to Worcester before??

Chris, Unc....marmite is YUMMY....mind you i doubt I'd feel the same in I worked in the marmite factory. Worcester sauce is OK in cooking, specially with 'welsh Rarabbit' but My other half puts it on his fry ups. yuk...I'm a Tomato Ketchup gal meself.:)

Well as they say in the Marmite advert, you either love or loath the stuff, and they are so right. I've never met anyone that thinks Marmite is just alright, it's either lovely or horrid.

Oh and you are right with the Tomato Ketchup Bez, can't do without it myself!! :yh_drool :)

It's extremely savoury....bit like oxo...but made from yeast extract. The trick is NOT to put too much on. do you have Twiglets over there...it's almost the same taste.

Yes I have been to Worcester. A wonderful spot in our green and pleasant land.

I also love tomato ketchup apart from the taste
