I'm only joking Jenny. Raven knows far more about London than I do....she'll make sure you have all the info. you need. This will be quite an adventure for you. London is an amazing city and really quite small so that getting to see the sights is easy. You can get an open top tourist bus that takes you all round the city and you can jump on and off and go and visit anything that takes your fancy.

I was just teasing sweety. I'll get some info for you. I'm sure there ARE places you wouldnt want to get stuck in. London isnt real british anymore. There are alot of different pockets you should avoid. I'll get you more specifics.

The London dungeons are fantastic and really creepy. The Tower of London is fantastic as well....and don't forget Covent Garden and Petticoat lane....and a trip on the river specially up to Hampton Court.....I'm exhausted just thinking about it.

Thanks a million guys . I know you were only kidding :wah:

I lived in NY for a year and a half and there are a few corners there that you wouldn't want to get lost in but that's even the same for over here in Cork.

I suppose there are dark corners in every big city.

I'm very excited. Is there a wax museum in London? :driving:

Yep so true, we could go on for ages, mentioning all the places that you could visit given time.

And let's just hope that the tube station call is better than the last time I was there. Could hardly hear what they were saying, and if it wasn't for the map that we had bought before hand would of gotten so lost.

As you are staying for a few days, you could do both as they're reasonably close but opposite sides of the river.

I think you are right there. I would offer up my cell/mobile phone number if anyone needed it but, the roaming fee would be horrific as it would have to roam from London, to way western Canada and back... ouch. I suspect roaming charges for any of us will be a tad costly as no one is from London huh. I am certain everyone will do just fine. You all are amazing at getting this to happen.

I am over the moon with excitement. I have a new suit case and new back pack so far, I have a list of essentials going

I have been hunting for a rain coat (something in plastic with daisy's ahahaha that is my threat anyway) but due to the fact it is still winter here, the spring gear isn't quite out in the shops yet. It may be my birthday purchase just before I go.
