Didn't know that Devon was in Africa or Asia for that matter.
Devon
It's not its in the South of England, they call it the English Riveria. A lot of people want to move down there, or some lucky ducks already have. Next door is Cornwall which is even nicer.

Yes, I have been there. Why? It's a pretty broad question....

Come, now - there must be more to it than that. Were you hoping for an allusion to the sunlight on the warm red soil of the fields on a warm afternoon, scones and cream with home-made jam, eaten by the fire, the lanes and lunatic drivers, the mist and cold cold as you head away from the prison on a darkening Autumn afternoon, the Romance of Mr. Blackmore, the bloody tourists, the greying population, the bloody council tax, Francis Drake, surfing, repairing cob walls, the weather, the bloody tourists, my near motorbike accident near Okehampton after a stay with some hippies, floods, Cider And What It Can Do To You, the smell of lichen-encrusted logs burning as you near X's house, Basil Fawlty, the police, the impact of the hunting issues, Llamas, farming, or what?

I don't think anyone had noticed till you mentioned it. Although I suppose technically you are not from the UK.
