1/12 of the year is now gone

Post by SOJOURNER »

It's February.

January is done.

How has your year been going so far?

Have you kept with your goals for 2006?

A new month. A new beginning. Now is the time to change what isn't working

and improve what is.

I am making progress, but not nearly as much as I would like to be able to say I have made. FOCUS and BALANCE are my statedgy for this year and I am moving in the right direction.

With the great help of my BIL I have been able to come to terms with my FG posting addiction. I use the stack of bills he sent me as an icon to maintain restraint.

I have returned to my shawl knitting ministry.

I bought and began reading 'Memoirs of a Geisha' by Arthur Golden.

I have worked at changing our menus to a healthier meal by adding a second vegetable choice and a fruit to our dinner meal. I find, if I serve it, they will eat it and then there is less likelyhood of snacking afterwards.

Goals for February:

Sustain January's accomplishments

Exercize 3 times a week

Open hand held Sudoku game to carry with me to play when waiting

Apply for passport

I am ever hopeful.......... The company plans to send the hubby to Colonge, Germany this Summer. If it works out that I'd be able to go too, I need to have

a passport in hand to do so............ Just preparing, just in case........ I keep

hoping.........

I'm still pretty focussed on my determinations.

Have lost a few pounds towards my goal to be a LOT slimmer for sons wedding in June.

Attacking work with a more positive attitude.

Making sure that I eat a proper meal when I get home at night.

Read 2 books this month.

Re-focussed on Buddhism

There's more, but I'm pretty content with the year so far.

Really looking forward to the spring !
