When you’re away
Living turns a dreadful adventure
Fraught with infested thoughts
Of needless wherefores
I vainly seek answers
To paradoxical questions
Drawn from the wells
Of abject distraught
Missing you
Drills a chasm in my life
Unfilled by your absent laughs and smiles
Leaving me like a flower
The bees have deserted
Having lost its nectar
Missing You

Missing You
Took me a while to think of a response to this one. I suppose I try not to let myself miss anyone that much. Then I realized that when my daughter goes away for more than the weekend I feel this way. You are bold and passionate in the voice you give to this emotion.

As a man with so much love to I offer, I get emotional and truly feel that way when I miss a loved one. Could there be a different way of expressing such an emotion other than verse?
