Gifs

I sometimes put Gifs in my posts taken from a site that let you use them free,

but when i post them on FG they disappear after a while and are replaced by a cross in a box.

Arnold lane had the same problems recently, anyone have any ideas why?

BTW, where is Arnie, he has'nt been on for a while?

Yes, that's why you shouldn't "hotlink". The files get moved or changed on the server that you are pulling them from - and hence - they go away.

The best way is to save them and then attach them to your posts. That way, they will stay here on the FG server.

Being this close to Christmas, maybe he was re-giffeded.
