This was totally awesome! What a great idea. I have been reading your posts and visualizing what cha all look like. What a surprise to me. I don't know how to post pictures yet, besides I don't have any of myself, just my grandkids on the pc. I would love to hear some bio's about you guys. This is a great place to be. I love it here. I was here late last night just reading page after page of forums. Didn't have time to post anything because I was reading so much. What a great group of people here. How did this web get started, who started and why? If I may ask. Keep up the good work FG!:D

Fine looking young men! I noticed the binoculars on the wall. Are they for watching the boys, or for the neighborhood serials.

Actually there for watching neighbors undress and walk around naked at night while the blinds are open!!!!!
If you believe that you're crazier than I thought! :wah:
They're for spotting when we go target practicing at the gun range and the smaller ones we have are for the boys to bird watch. They love it!

My boys are my life, I go crazy when they do their thing, but I'd be lost without them. I could do without a husband, but not my boys. That may sound rather harsh, I'm not meaning to be, but it's the truth. The hubby and I split for six months when our eight year old was two months old and we had a better life and more money than we did with the hubby. If anything was to happen to them I'd lose it, you know like divorce the hubby and become a hermit begging for money or just leave and start over where no one knew me (like maybe Sweden or Gotland Island). I'd call my mom occasionally to let the family know I was alright and alive but that'd be it. I'd basiclly(?) disappear.

I know what you mean about your boys being your life. Mine are too. And now my grandbabies. Just remember one thing "They step on your toes when they are little and they step on your hear when they are grown." My mother-in-law told me that years ago and it really does happen. My oldest boy took on a wife and now will have nothing to do with me. My heart is broken and there is nothing I can do. Love those babies now as much as you can because you just never know what will happen. They are beautiful boys.

Thank you Mookey. My heart already gets broken at times by them, but I hope and pray neither one of them get put in the situation of having to "choose" between his wife and me. My mom told me that I was their army against the world and I've held those words to my heart and ANYONE that mistreats them is game, their parents especially! My ten year old, Michael, had a rough year with his third grade teacher, it still makes me angry, not mad, ANGRY to think about what she did to him. She singled him out and made him look like a thief and a lier and other things. Now as a mother who cares about her child that only steals from his brother and needs to learn about how people are I had to put my foot down. I contacted the Assistant Principle, who did nothing, then the principle, who did nothing, and finally I said screw them all and turned her into the board of education and THEY did something. You can mess with me but not my boys. I know they are far from perfect, I'm not an idiot, I know they do things that are wrong, but what he was being accused of was BS! Where we live at we have a five, four and two year old that live across the street, the other kids in the neighborhood are twelve and older and won't visit with them at all. Michael has no friends at school or here, only his brother. Matthew on the other hand has a ton of friends and has no problems except how to make his daddy happy with what he does. Michael on the other hand is a very self concious boy that feels he has nothing going for him. I tell him daily, and numerous times during the day, how proud I am of him. I'll go outside and throw the football or baseball with him, I'll even sit in the dirt with him and play with his hotwheels. He feels alone, and I know how he feels too, it was like that for me when I was a kid, I only had my brother. I wish I knew how to help his confidence, it's really heart wrenching watching him get upset or cry because someone has made fun of him. He's really overweight for his age (145 lbs). The Dr. made a mistake of kind of making fun of Michael's weight in front of me on the 23rd of Dec. I told him Michael had enough problems with kids about his weight and didn't need his input about it unless he was going to help him with ideas on how to lose a little. Needless to say he shut his mouth! I'm rather quiet myself but when something happens to my boys, I'm all mouth and action!

I know how you feel about them.. I havea 9 year old grandson with ADHD and has no friends. He takes medication, but still no one wants to be friends with him. It breaks my heart to see him struggle everyday with this horrilbe disease. He is such an unhappy little boy. I wonder if you got your son into the Big Brother program or YMCA activities in your area and away from his classmates if that would help him. Maybe Karate or some other sports activity that would help boost his morale and also help with his weight problem. Thats what my brother-in-law did with their son that was overweight. Good luck and I hope he will be okay. I fully understand your situation as a mother thats for sure.
