I love it too-easy to use, lots of choices. I have a real DUMB question-How did I find this forum? I have been telling people about it and cannot remember how I came upon it-how did all of you find it?

It's kind of like wandering through an impossibly enormous house, with thousands of rooms, each one fascinating and seductive in it's own way. I haven't even visited a quarter of the varied forums yet!

Everybody posts interesting stuff, and I haven't seen a lot of flaming going on, which is refreshing.what the hell?? who do you think you are? where do you get off saying there's not a lot of flaming? it's just that kind of bleeding heart liberal claptrap that poisons the well. there are decent people here, how about leaving us alone?? i'm not psychotic, i only play one on teevee!!

I'm not loving the Garden so much anymore.

Maybe I'm seeing something happening that only I see, but it's not the place it was when I joined... Even the heated debates used to be relaxing, and enjoying to read.

Not so much anymore though.

Letha, what are you seeing that makes the garden not so good anymore? Conflict? Arguments? Heated debate? As this place grows, and more members with different opinions and personalities are talking, there is bound to be more people who some don't like, don't agree with and may NEVER agree with. But that is what makes it so interesting. Varied opinions and views. And it's very easy to just not read the parts that you find too tense or controversial.

I don't love the FG. Although it is well put together and presented. Presentation is important, as forums with tiny print, black backgrounds and weird people are hard to be part of. You gain a sense of people, and i will have to admit there are some memorable past debates here. The FG has to draw the line as to who to keep and who to rid of. Another forum had such poor educated administrators, they rid of important people by humilitation, now it sucks..oh well, you could see they had one common interest, rip people down continuously. Please Point out the disjoined sentence here, so i can see it....Thanks...

FG, to keep people interested and coming back, all need to be treated equally. Forums will change, 2004 is one of the most out-spoken year on behalf of the world. People feel attacked by me, i am helping them, i sit back and listen....i will send a bill. FG is good and been very fair. You just can't be here blowing your nose on your sleeve. Get some Tissues.
Everyone has these on their face? TULIPS.

I met some American guy in UK Resident Forum. He asked me over here to take a look at FG. I liked what I saw, :-6 Americans discussing their way of life, their culture, history, heritage ect. America as we do not see it from here in Ireland. I just kept coming back. :guitarist

It has nothing to do with anything you say there, there is a broken record that has, as broken records do become stuck, and one persons idea seems to be being continued by others. This stops me from avoiding parts that I find tense, I don't find them controversal though, just childish, petty and annoying.

I realise things change all the time and actually feel insulted that you felt the need to say that.

I used to enjoy the garden because it had a far more mature nature about it, that seems to have gone very much down hill of late.

I tried cheating on the Garden and strayed to couple of other forums that looked interesting. Completely unrewarding. I'm back and plan on being monogoforumous now. The other sites can't compare to both format and interesting users.

Great new word! :D
