A New Brain Twister

Two kings have had three battles in the past, always fighting to a draw. One king decided to enlist the aid of a fortune teller to help with making strategy. Two fortune tellers answered his summons. "Are you any good?" the king asked fortune teller #1.

"Alas, my king, though I work hard at my craft, my success rate is but 20 percent."

Fortune teller #2 chuckled. "Well, my king, I am very proud of my successes. I have a 70 percent success rate."

The king decided to hire fortune teller #1. Why?

We need a hint....

Does it have anything to do with the fact that the kings went into battle 3 times previously?
