Patriot Act....the #1 and only thing that I agree with our current president. I have nothing to hide but I would like to know if the guy down the street does. The patriot act was a great tool in the war on terror to seek our and find the terror cells. No, I am not that stupid to think thats all the government used it for, but without it we are just that much more defensless. As far as the war in Iraq, we knew that the monkey in office was gonna find any reason ....even if he had to make it up,,,,to go after his daddy's rival. Just too bad I believed him when he told us there were weapons there too.

Just make sure you have all 187 sides of the story before you make up your mind.

The patriot act is, in my opinion, the most fascist thing this government has done. The biggest smoke screen about this is that it has nothing to do with patriotism. It's official name is The Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism Act of 2001 ... Thus Patriot Act.

As for the weapons of mass destruction (only one reason of many that was given for invading), people make decisions based on the information at hand. Sometimes they want to see something so much they put much more emphasis on some stuff that they might not do in a different circumstance. Same stuff happend here in FG all the time. I don't know what Bush knows or knew to base the decision to invade Iraq. We will never know the real truth, despite what the more strident of us may say.

We're in Iraq now. We broke it; we bought it. Now we have to finish the job.

Thank you! I don't know why it is so hard for people to understand that if we pull out troops out of there too soon, Iraq will become prime real estate for terrorist groups to train and plot.

I promise you, my husband sure isn't happy about going to war over weapons of mass destruction that didn't exist. BUT - if his being there in some way prevents future terror attacks on U.S. soil, he is more then happy to do his job.

when we finaly decide that Iraq is ready to be left alone. How long do you think it will take for them to revert back to their old ways. I don't believe that we should pul out now since it will destroy any credibility that we have left in the world. What I don't like is being suckered into a war that we had no plan on winning except shock and awe. I have a great respect for our sodiers and whenever I come across one I shake their hand and thank them, no matter what war they fough, for their courage to serve this country.

We went over there on false intelligence and now that we are there we are going to use that place for our war on terror. If we need to fight someone we will do it there, I guess it's better than fighting them on our own soil. We don't need them over here.
