Still Thursday, but home already! Got the snow going to down there, JAB? It is going pretty good up here now...............

The snow machine is working its magic here! Started out as freezing rain at 11am, then turned over to snow. Calling for 14 to16 inches by Friday afternoon. Most schools have sent the kids home and closed....but, not ours! Why they wait until the weather is so bad that the buses can't get up the mountains, is beyond me.

Holey Moley, the buses will skid on the ice and snow! Send them home early, if they are in session half-day it doesn't count as a snow day!

The excuse the school is using....they don't want to send kids home to empty houses, since most parents are at work! I'd rather have mine home than venturing out on icy roads in a bus.
