That was my first thought but then I thought, she could no more force him to take his meds than I can force my husband to take his insulin on time. I feel they had no choice but to shoot him.

Nightmare, typical that the first person that they have to shoot at is a mental patient off his meds. Well, I don't blame the officers in question, extreme situation, bombs, all that. Bad result though, I guess they will have an enquiry and see if there is any way to prevent such tragic incidents happening in future, very difficult to do, I would imagine.

He stops and reaches into the pack...

do you :

A) Sit down and have a deep conversation about his childhood

B) Offer him milk and cookies and ask to check the backpack he is carrying

C) Shoot him...

Dunno.. Tough call

Course all the attention is on the guy that got shot...

what about the guy that pulled the trigger.. bet he feels just freaking wonderful..
