Anti-Hate

When I was in Kindergarten, I said to a little friend that I hated this other kid. She said, "My mommy says that it's wrong to hate." She said that it's okay to dislike somebody, but you're not allowed to hate. Don't hate. I learned a very valuable lesson that day.

Is there anyone else in the Garden that doesn't hate? To this day, I don't hate people. I might dislike certain individuals, but I don't have hate in my heart.

Are any of the other Members like this? Anything to say about hate?

it's a waste of energy and gives the hated person 'power' over you. intense dislike is normal in certain circumstances, but it's unhealthy to hang onto it.

For the Parents of Anthony Walker, they showed their true humanity when they forgave the cowardly act of hate which saw their son brutely murdered.

Can any of us be so forgiving? In truth, they showed us that, as Lady Cop said, its better to let go of the hatred, only then can the soul move on and be healed.

Incredible people and a powerful lesson coming out of such sadness.

I may dislike what a person may do, but I cannot hate someone. If someone really upsets me, I can only be angry for a while and then it just disappears after a night's sleep.

Like LC said, you give away your energy and power to the other person. The other person won't even care the hoot so it's wasted.
