I took my daughter to see our towns switch on ceremony last night, the lights are so pathetic I didn't take any photos.

Our nearest city are not having any light this year due to a lack of support from the traders.

Health and Safety laws seem to stopping a lot of the towns and villages having a display.

Fingers crossed the little village of Mousehole will be as spectacular as ever, will try to get some photos of them when they're switched on.

We were down in Coeur d'Alene last night. I brought my camera to take photos of CDA's main street and the resort area.

What I didn't expect was the dense fog. Since I didn't want to walk away empty handed, here are a few shots. You can see there is a lone photographer on a pier trying to do the same thing. :p (Lake Coeur d'Alene)

Environment: Fog, Dark, 23 degrees F.

Time: 4:10 p.m.

Glad you liked them! It was kind of surreal down there last night.

Hi Babyrider,

That's the pier where you get on the tour boats, the tour airplanes, and the parasailing. If you look closely, you can see the parasailing sign.

Awesome Pictures Tombstone. I loved them. I didn't realize you lived close to Cour de'laine. We were there for holidays 2 summers ago and are dying to go back again.

I will work on pictures from this part of the world. I know the street leading into the Beau's complex is lovely so am going to work and getting a cool shot of that this week.
