I've just found out that Carl writes for young adults too.

Hoot and Flush are the names of these books.

oh gawd, you're really going to hate me now! as it turns out i bought all Carl's books for Bothwell, he, like me, never read fiction before. (except dickens) but Carl is right on the money re: south florida. see his website and get all his books, he is brilliant. and writes every sunday for the miami herald too. Carl Hiaasen Bothwell
