Hussein Trial

Post by DesignerGal »

Who are Hussein's lawyers?

An Iraqi lawyer named Khalil Dulaimi is representing Hussein with the help of a London-based lawyer, Abdel-Haq Alani. Hussein's international advisers include Ramsey Clark who served as U.S. Attorney General in the late 1960s; Mahathir Mohamad, the former prime minister of Malaysia, and Aysha Moammar Ghadafi, a law professor and the daughter of Libyan leader Moammar Ghadafi.

What do you guys think about this trial? Could you represent him?

Hussein Trial

What fascinates me about this trial is why is he still alive? Why didn't they just shoot him when they found him and say that they mistook him for a sheep or something, this trial is never going to work out, its very hard to prosecute leaders of countries properly, it always gets messy, with international law getting called into question. I just can't understand why he wasn't killed....erm..."accidently" in 2003?

No. But I'm a humanitarian so I wouldn't be a lawer in the first place.
