Hey! That's when I went through basic, except I think my coughs are older and phlegmier than yours.

Hehehe that's such a great idea, maybe that way, everyone around the UK can have some, without even having to leave the house. :D

That nasty old storm is headed our way tonight, with temperatures planning to drop 30 degrees or more. It is a lovely 68 right now, and they expect a drop to 24 tonight!

Yeah, let it snow-snow days!

I love snow .......... cones. They're especially lovely in the warm November breeze while sitting by the still-flowering shrubbery. Ahhhhh winter. :-4

SnoozeControl wrote: Being a fairly recent transplant to a snowy area, it still sort of seems freaky when it snows. It can be snowing like mad outside, but there's no noise. When its just moist but really cold out, it looks like glitter is falling. And the best part is when you walk through fresh, fluffy snow and your feet making squeaky noises (sort of like in some sand.) The downside is its slippery as hell and turns to ice in the roads. I've taken a few unintentional slides and lemme tell you, it wasn't fun.

Counter steer Snooze!! That and 4WD, it's the only way to go!!

We had our first snow today!

Our cat, Louise, has never seen snow before. We let her out onto the balcony and she hid under a chair at first, but soon she was darting everywhere trying to catch flakes in her paws and digging into the small bit of accumulation we've gotten. We brought her back in and she's spent the afternoon in the window, watching the snow fly. It's so precious!

I met a nice couple from Ontario today. They were lost and looking for a nearby campground to spend the night before they proceeded to San Diego. I'm sure they miss the cold.
