Hi All

What do ya all think of the X factor then? I work nights and never see it, they all rage on about it here, sounds like a bunch of loosers trying to make it big???

I've seen some of it and it can be quite entertaining. And most of the finalists have very good voices.

I enjoy this show more for the fights between the judges than any talent on the stage. I don't think any act coming through a programme like this will gain respect much as any celebrity appearing in celeb big brother is looked on as an "has-been".

Can't stick that Louis Walsh,he's like a kid who can't get his own way. :wah:

Well I can't stand any of the program personally and would rather watch paint dry. Though I will admit that the show is a good way of bringing out hidden talent, but perhaps it's the way the show is designed that keeps me from watching.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo anything but those!!!!! :(

It seems that everyone in my family watches them and they are always gossiping about, "can you believe what Bob did to Jim tonight?"

Ugh and they always trying to involve me in them too. It's like they are using the force to try and bring me over to the dark side, but I am trying so hard to resist them all!! :D

I reckon Maria will get a recording deal anyway, maybe this way she'll have more credability than if she won it?

Why do you think I post on this forum :D

Oh speaking of the sport, (sorry to divert off the topic a little,) but I'm assuming u watched our England team beat those cheating Argentinens Arnold?? You enjoy the game, have to say it was extremely entertaining.

Can't say I have any time for reality type shoes. And I have a particular dislike for these talent shows. Not too sure what it is, they just rub me up the wrong way.

Saturday night TV is dismal here. We end up watching it because it's ok for all the family to watch.

When you have kids who stay up a little later on a weekend night it's nice to watch something as a whole family and enjoy it. We all have our favourites and yell and support them.:D

I watched the game Chris....the second half was riveting......

I heard this morning that the Argentinians are saying that the Ref. 'fixed' the match....NO WAY !!!!

Arnold......My husband is the 'soap watcher' in my house which is why I'm always on the computer. He was out all day yesterday so i watched a film about Rosa Parks on SKY MOVIES and a double dose of 'MONKEY BUSINESS' on Animal Planet.

later on I watched 'EGYPT'....it was funny to see Matthew Kelly acting...and playing an Italian to boot.

Anyway...back to X Factor....I haven't watched this series because i've been watching Strictly Come Dancing.......I'd rather watch the lovely Darren Gough than the hateful Sharon Osborn who seems to have risen to fame on 'the back' of her totally nutty husband OZZY.

Have a nice day .....:-6

Chris...remember the 'Posting' race we were having when we both first signed up at FG. back in August....well I'm flagging now and I'm only leading by 'a nose'....looks like I'm going to have to give in graciously...we'll be neck and neck by the weekend and then you'll overtake me.....never mind...you'll be a worthy winner.....be an impossible task to catch up with LC though.....unless she takes a round the world cruise with NO access to a computer....he he he :D

Really Bez, typical huh, just can't except the fact that we won can they, end of story.

I have to say that I personally find Sunday night tv worse than Saturday. Maybe it's because Sunday just seems to show the same kind of dramas that dont really appeal to me, whilst at least Saturday seems to have some choice.

Well if u remember Bez, our bet was actually the first to 1000 and you won that one. But I would say that we are both winners. We both joined a great site, made lots of new friends and have loved our time here.

Though u are right about LC, she is a posting machine, I don't even think a round the world cruise would make any difference!! :D
