Right, I want people's opinions on this show, about 400 words per episode should do. It should be good tonight as Marc Antony is about to go "westside" on Pompey's fat ass (to use an Americanism.). I really should desist from watching "Pimp my Ride!" its not doing my vocabulary any good at all.

I knew that was going to be your answer as soon as I posted! Gosh, police women are naughty aren't they? Actually I could tell you a story about a Danish policewoman I met in Prague (obviously off duty) one time, but I think its more fun to leave it to your imagination.

No, I don't kiss and tell, well not on the Internet anyway, a lady must respect that a gentleman reserves the right to be discreet. Anyway, I don't think I really need to explain, she was a scandanavian after all. Lets just say that Denmark, from my experience, must be an extremely liberal country if she was an typical example of the local bobbies. Why I didn't move there immeadiatly upon finding that out is still a mystery to me.

Have you been watching the programme afterwards...SCANDAL...tonight was the 1970s. It's really interesting....What did happen to Lord Lucan ? Do you think we'll ever know ??

I don't think we get that one, as we have BBC Nothern Ireland in the Republic or "BEA. BEA. SAY. Norn Iron" as they pronouce it. Lord Lucan, yes that is a blast from the past, oh I'd say he is well dead by now, or hosting some daytime show, which is largely equivalent. Anyway, we get "Rome" and It was quite good again tonight, though as Boswell mentioned before, its not a patch on "I Cladius", still you take what you can get nowadays.

I went to a Buddhist meeting with my daughter in Brighton and missed the first 15 minutes of Rome...I am quite enjoying it. I have also been watching 'Egypt' about the discovery of Tutankhamuns tomb. A well known tale, but interesting none the less particularly as we got snippets about Tutankhamuns life as well.

well i've almost watched the entire thing now, and i found it high camp! no, nothing will ever compare to the brilliant,literate and beautifully written " I, Claudius". i was still entertained however.
