1963 'Vette. Canary yellow

An original Hummer (not the 2nd or 3rd ones, the REAL one)

A Chevy Suburban

A Mazda MX-8

The biggest, most pretentious Cadillac out there

Arnold...I have been to the factory in Weybridge and watched the cars being built. I think the original company has been bought out, however the cars are awesome. The majority I saw were left hand drive and destined for the USA. They were actually cutting out the leather for the seats and trim...I will never forget the experience.

Anyway, I have a Toyota Yaris and I am so pleased with it, that if I had the money I would buy another but Top of the range....

Ah yes the E soft top, brings back memories. In 1973 I owned a 1971 XKE 4.2L Inline 6, Maroon, with Black soft top. It was the most beautiful car for its time, but I found out the hard way why it was also called the "Rack Queen". It was on the Mechanics "repair rack" every other month. And the repair bills were astronomical, because it was a foreigh car here in the States! But when it was running, it was one of the best cars I ever drove at that time. Right after a new clutch was installed in it, I took it for a test drive at 2am, on the highway. No one was in sight in front or back of me, so I punched it, pedal to the metal & kept it there till I reached 130mph, then I backed off as I could feel like the car was on air! (Don't tell LC I went that fast) It was a beautiful car, but the upkeep maintaniance & repairs bills were just too much! So I sold it to a girl, whos Boyfriend was a Jag mechanic.

Hi Jen, welcome to the Garden.

You've got the right idea. Cars are just "transportation", but they can get to be real expensive if you let it. :)
